Thats the best day I ever had so its great : )

Im working on a lot of project, still working on 0 to 50k challenge. It seems to pay off after a time. It takes a bit to get your sites high on Google, SEO is a long term process. The one thing I will learn from this challenge is patience, great virtue!

Im still not getting any results with my link building efforts, will wait 1,2 months before evaluating my results as it’s still to early on.

        

I made a scratch and full plan to outsource my link building to all sites I have (40 right now). My virtual assistant is going to start with it on monday. It’s going to produce me 20k backlinks to my sites, ezinearticles and videos a month. Im planning in getting at least 2500 one way backlinks from high PR sites per site to dominate search results. I did some research on various niches, it’s possible to be on top 3 place on best keywords, although it’s still big unknown for me.

Google is tricky and numbers don’t always add up. MY domains are new, not much content either, it’s hard to compete with few years old forum that is updated every minute. That’s why i will need much more content updates and steady long term link building to get my first place on Google for the keywords I want. Not the easiest thing to do but possible ; )

3 Month coming, didn’t cross $10k mark as I had slight 1 month delay. This month want to hit at least $100, it’s still nothing compared by my goals but it seems not that easy. Getting Google traffic takes time and it’s not going to happen overnight. My prognoses at start were a bit ’silly’, well but they keep me going ; ]

Still challenge is challenge, so I will try hit $10k first mark as soon as I can to go to $20k next..

I got Market Samurai software and it kicks ass!!! IT helped me a lot with competition analysis. Now I know exactly how much work could it be possible involved to be first on google for specific keyword. It gives me a lot of power and better understanding what it takes to be on the top. I recommend anyone this tool who is into SEO game, best tool I’ve ever used.

In most niches top sites has at least 1,2k backlinks to all subpages, most places 1 for keyword 100-1k backlinks to this specific subpage. It make ultra-hard to achieve first place, to get so many backlinks could take 100-200 days with steady 5-10 backlinks a day to don’t get sandboxed.

Im submitting now articles for all 40 sites. In month 3th, that I’m now I’m going to focus to get some budget, at least $5k for next month to finish some sites from previous month and start 3rd month sites.

I learnt a lot in just couple of months. I screwed a bit in budget management. Although I planned at start to spend correctly the money for first 2 months, on the second month I was lacking sufficient amount of money that stopped me from finishing some sites. I’m not sure how it happened actually but it happened. I should have monitor regularly, for example weekly the money I spent. Instead I went a bit crazy ; P

My plans are for next few months to get very heavy into link building for first 20 sites, later on sites from second month. Simontenously get 3rd month sites get running and do typical video/article marketing. Additionally I will get in couple of projects to get $5k+/m profit to fuel new sites and not get stuck.

Getting $50k mark, possible? Absolutely, I see already sales coming from little traffic I have. The potential is out there, and what needed? Traffic, traffic, traffic! So let’s play the Google game!

Will I get this mark this year? Possible not, it’s a long term game. I’m more about creating long term business assets that will serve me for years to come, with domains, seo rankings, leads and client lists.

I believe to hit mark $500/m per site I will need 200-300 hits a day. That should be about 10-20 leads a day. I believe with more leads coming, the sales will increase naturally because of follow up msg. For most sites I have set up 30 msg, for first 50 days, planning to extend it to 180 days and eventually to full year of follow ups ; D I heard it from many marketers, not sure if it was in Frank Kern training or someone else, the more follow ups the better. Person can buy your product even after 6 months. And if someone unsubscribe? Well not a big deal, it means this person didn’t like the subject bad enough anyway. He/she won’t buy a product anyway, no lose for me.

Back to the sites, I see few niche ’superstars’ raising slowly. It’s still to early to know but some sites are getting nice sales conversions, all these sales came not from email marketing, follow ups, but direct visit to the sales page.

        

Next sale has come, $17 all from my traffic

I see a lot of potential in some niches, traffic potential and conversion. Its still not enough sales to meet my objectives but I’m comng to it. Trying to get more budget for new sites. I believe I cna make $500+/m per website but it may not happen in first 1,2 months of promotion but maybe 3+ month. That’s just how Google works.

I broke also 20 limit of new subscribers a day. I see significant increase of it. I’m thinking about adding pop up opt in boxes on some sales pages, in almost every product I have over 30 affiliates promoting me, in some products sending me 50+ hits a day. I’m not sure about the quality of this traffic, I checked some sources in google analytics and saw from 1 top affilite traffic from craigslist, backpage, usfreeads. I’m not sure if it can be very targeted traffic.

My traffic is converting much better though, through just articles and videos. Some sales pages got 300+ hits and no sales – will see if anything changes in the future.

        

I didn’t even start to promote my sites much and first sale came today!

It’s actually my some affiliate’s sale, someone sold my product!! That’s my first sale as a vendor on Clickbank.

I made just $5.78, but hey, the game didn’t begin yet ;] Can’t wait for more !!

        

Yes, the traffic is coming and first opt ins raise, that’s a good sign, it’s 6 opt ins today from over 30 sites I have, but I’m happy to see some action What I love about having a lot of websites is that I don’t need to have massive traffic on one to see some results, each of these small websites will grow and grow after time, giving me the momentum over the time. Can’t wait for that!

I’m planning to try some pop up optins to increase my opt in rate in the future, because really it’s so much easier to sell someone over the email than on the first visit. That’s why my main focus is to get as many opt ins as possible because I know later on with big lists over 1000+ it’s easy to sell. Especially as I’m providing quality articles and information over follow up messages with small ‘commercial interruptions’.

        

Next week I’m starting to promote 20-25 websites at the end of the month all 20 website from month 1. I decided to go with article marketing and also video marketing. I’m very confident about video marketing that will bring me a lot of good traffic. I didn’t have that good experience in article marketing as traffic was very small in other niches I tried.

Anyway, today I checked my Google Analytics and found out some traffic coming. Few websites had spike like 10-20 hits in last few days or 1 day. It seems when you get accepted to Clickbank many affiliates are checking out your website. Additionally there are many websites like cbengine that brought me some traffic too. What’s great about analytics I know exactly my affiliates usernames from accesses content, like:

mysite.com/index1.html?hop=someaffiliatelogin

So I will know now exactly how much traffic each affilite is sending me and what quality of traffic. I’m not sure if I can check referral, as it was showing me direct traffic from these ‘hop links’.

I’m very happy seeying some traffic coming as I didn’t build any links or did any marketing yet. Some sites has like 50-70% from Google, so that’s great!

The only concern I had is that my bounce rate… In some sites as high as 80%+! I don’t kknow if it’s average, I think it’s pretty high. On many sites the worst bounce rate has Google traffic, on 1 website over 90%+ bounce rate… Damn..

That’s very surprising, as from my experience Google traffic was always outperforming all of me other traffic sources. But I have to take in mind it’s still a very low traffic volume and all these analysis are rather not accurate.

Couple of niches showed a lot of long tail keywords – that’s a good sign – and even first pages on Google for some main keywords.

On 1 of my website with a bit better design I had 70% bounce rate. That started to make me thinking that the problem can lay in design – showing the content the right way. The other problem can be that I’m selling too much on each content page – that may turn off some people. Other thing not many photos on pages, too much text, not enough breaks. Maybe the background color turns people off?

From this stage of the game it’s really hard to predict what’s wrong, if something is wrong. Time will tell.

I’m a bit concerned about my next month budget, but have couple of ideas to make some fast cash in few weeks. It’s going to involve site flipping…

        

That was one of my first affirmations that I actually wrote in a notepad file. It happened on 27th of July. What’s interesting is that on July 28th my website broker called me with a lot of enthusiasm in his voice and said ‘I think we got a buyer!’.

August 3rd, site sold and $20.5k goes to me. There was some financing but most was upfront. Am I unhappy because of it? Of course not! : P

I tried to sell this website for some time, talking to many people and never really sold it. Once I’ve written my goals it ‘miraculously’ happened. It took just 7 days.

Is it some cosmic super power, law of attraction? I don’t know but I do know that the power of belief is one of the strongest powers in the universe. Maybe it’s just my strong belief in law of attraction made this law work for me, maybe it doesn’t exist universally but to people that do strongly believe in it. Maybe once we put our mind to any kind of ideology, belief it will be true. It means there are no ultimate truth, cause all ideologies are false, all beliefs are false and there are subjective. We can create our reality how we want to and concepts we acknowledge over the years just help us logically build our map of reality so we are not lost in just emotional perception of the world. And maybe that I’m saying is just my uplifted imagination, and my experience of the world is irrelevant. Just maybe

        

To summarize, first month was pretty tough and I underestimated my budget limits, thus couldn’t accomplish all sites completely. I will need to finish a lot of sites this month and carry on new ones, that may be a bit overwhelming.

But on the bright side I got the budget I was aiming for , created a plan for a second month, with a lot of PLR content use to save money. If everything will go well I should get all 40 sites going after second month and see some profits. My goal is $10k, although may be hard to to achieve because of the first month delay. I’m aiming at least couple thousand for a third month fueling. I’m going to leave some money from this month to the third one to make sure not to stay broke with no money to expand.

Expansion can be very pricy, everything costs if you want to automate it and play hard. I expect momentum in a couple of months when I won’t need to worry if it’s enough for the next month challenge

        

My products got approved on Clickbank but it seems that for each product I will need to create a new Clickbank account. That’s because on 1 Clickbank account you have have only 1 marketplace info spot.

It’s not the best system they have in place… Anyway, for new accounts it’s only $30 fee to become a vendor so it’s not bad, I thought it’s $50 regular price for duplicated accounts. You just have to remind Clickbank it’s your second account and they will give you a discount.

        

All 5 sites are set up online, ecovers, products finished. 3 Copywriters are working for sales pages, I don’t have 2 other sales pages, will try to write it by own next week. I’m in short of budget right now. After that I’m going to submit these sites on Clickbank and start promotion.

I’m a bit delayed but next week has a lot of PLR, should finish above things.
